Great Hair Styles at The Oscars 2015
Acting ‘royalty’ came out in force at the 87th annual Academy Awards in Hollywood, better known as the Oscars 2015.
Congratulations to British actor Eddie Redmayne who picked up the best actor Oscar for his portrayal of Stephen Hawking in The Theory of Everything and to Julianne Moore for winning best actress for her role in Still Alice.
While the celebrities partied the night away, the team at Inspire Beauty checked out the celebrities to find out who stole the show when it came to their hair sense!
Award-winning Short Hair at The Oscars
Short hair continues to dominate the fashion stakes and The Oscars showcased a number of great short haircuts. Cate Blanchett wore her hair slicked back and, as always, looked effortlessly chic.
We also love Lupita Nyong’o‘s elegant, short hairstyle.
Our favourite short hairstyle was modelled by Rita Ora (left) whose simple short blonde haircut oozed old-fashioned Hollywood glamour reminiscent of Audrey Hepburn in her heyday. Her incredible blue gown with gold embellishment and fishtail was also stunning.
The Oscar for Best Bobbed Hair goes to…
The bob was given a Hollywood makeover with celebrities adding their own unique twists to this versatile hairstyle.
Carmen Ejogo’s vintage style hair had a gentle wave which was very glamorous, while Emma Stone’s wavy faux-bob (right) was sexy and playful.
As always, Nicole Kidman looked chic and elegant with a lovely long bob.
Hollywood Waves at The Oscars
There will always be a place for classic wavy hair at red carpet events as it adds a certain Hollywood glamour to the proceedings!
Supermodel Chrissy Teigen (left) oozed glamour with her vintage style curls, and Jennifer Lopez looked chic and pretty in pink with a pulled back ponytail of long, cascading curls.
Reece Witherspoon opted for a centre parting with smooth hair which was curled at the ends. Very pretty.
