WHAT IS B+ Teeth Whitening Zero Peroxide and how does it work?

The UK’s first professional teeth whitening treatment that is entirely peroxide, chlorine dioxide and bleach free!  More importantly it’s safe to use, entirely legal and has guaranteed results!

Like most other whitening gels, B+ Teeth Whitening contains oxidizing agents that are the key to teeth whitening.  The oxidizing agent penetrates the porous element of the tooth enamel and break down stains that block light and cause discolouration.  Further treatment allows the oxidizing agents to penetrate into the dentin layer (underneath the tooth enamel) removing deeply embedded stains that have built up over time.  The whitening agent is activated by the use of a LED blue light system in two to three 15 minute slots.  The joy of B+ is that it is safe, legal and effective!

Does it produce quality results?

The gel in B+ Zero peroxide has been tried and tested around the world with exceptional results!  Results recorded have been up to 12 shades lighter with an average of 8 shades whiter.  The important thing to remember about this gel is that it does not contain peroxide.  Peroxide products at the percentage quantities used in most dentists and teeth whitening companies will achieve instant and long lasting results.  But the peroxide products used are dangerous, and are soon likely to become illegal.  B+ zero peroxide whitening gel is fully safety tested and compliant under EU Regulations.  It is classed as an ongoing treatment.  Most people will achieve instant and long lasting results with this gel, and with regular top ups you will maintain a brighter, whiter smile!

How can I look after my teeth during and after whitening?

Personal habits may need to be modified to achieve and maintain the desired goal of whiter teeth.  Teeth should be dry and cleaned of debris before any whitening agent is applied.  During whitening, teeth may be slightly dehydrated and consumption of food and drinks which can cause staining should be kept to a minimum or avoided.  These foodstuffs should also be avoided after tooth whitening.  Stopping smoking will also prevent staining of teeth.

Why might I want my teeth whitened?

As with hair and skin colour, the colour of our teeth is genetically determined and therefore varies between individuals. Our teeth tend to naturally darken as we get older.  Teeth can be stained on the surface by food and drinks such as tea, coffee and red wine. Tobacco smoking can also stain teeth. Acidic drinks and foods such as fizzy drinks, fruit juice and yoghurt can cause the teeth to appear more yellow as they cause erosion of the outer enamel layer allowing the underlying yellow dentine to shine through.  Discolouration can also be caused by illness or the use of tetracycline antibiotics while the teeth are forming. Minocycline, a tetracycline antibiotic, can cause staining in adult teeth.  Deposits of calculus (tartar) that form around the necks of teeth can pick up unsightly stains.
